ING with Kineo have won not one, but two coveted Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in the 2022 HCM Spring Program, which has a dedicated focus on entries from corporate training, learning, talent, HR or other related departments.

ING were named the winners of a Brandon Hall Group Gold award for excellence in the ‘Best Results of a Learning Program’ category and a Silver award for excellence in the ‘Best Learning Program Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy’ category.

ING and Kineo’s win was announced on Thursday 18th August and the winners are listed on the Brandon Hall Group awards page

ING’s PACE Academy was the focus of the award entry, a blended learning programme designed to accelerate innovation at the bank.

With the increase in technological innovation in banking, ING launched a new innovation methodology (PACE) which they needed to ensure was adopted across the organisation. Working with Kineo, ING pivoted from hard-to-scale classroom training to deliver a blended learning experience to deliver against this challenge. The PACE Academy provides employees with a guided blended learning journey including microlearning, practical resources, remote group working, collaborative learning, virtual classrooms and more.

Steve Lowenthal, Global Chief Product & Marketing Officer, Kineo said:

“Recognition from Brandon Hall Group for the PACE Academy, and for the teams at ING and Kineo, is an outstanding achievement and one that is greatly deserved! The PACE Academy programme is a great example of how digital learning can help a business scale and drive real change and innovation, bringing together multiple modes of learning to create an engaging journey for the learner. I know the team at Kineo are incredibly proud of the work we’ve achieved with ING, and this award is testament to our partnership approach – congratulations to the whole team!”

Rachel Cooke, Brandon Hall Group Chief Operating Officer said:

“Excellence Award winners distinguish themselves through their growing understanding that all the functions of HCM are integrated and must work together to move businesses forward. It is a pleasure to see more organizations collaborating across functions and getting more sophisticated and accomplished at delivering measurable benefit through ground-breaking HCM practices.”

Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based upon these criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation and overall measurable benefits.
