Kineo and Barclays UK scoop two silvers at the Learning Technologies Awards 2019

News | 10.11.2019

We’re making a bit more room in the awards cabinet this morning as we’re delighted to have picked up Silver awards in two categories at the Learning Technologies Awards 2019.

Held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, the glittering affair celebrates the best and brightest in learning technology. Our Kineo team attended along with our nominees and enjoyed some LTAwards 2019 hospitality as we awaited the results.

On the night we picked up a Silver award in the following categories;

Best use of learning technologies to ensure compliance

Working with the Barclays design team this project leveraged their brand-new learning experience platform to deliver scenario-based, mandatory, learning using compelling and realistic stories. This project completely revolutionized and streamlined compliance training within the UK business.

The judges said;

"we were impressed by the way business needs were defined by the team, the way behaviour-based learning was then designed, developed and tested, the campaign approach and the thorough and detailed evaluation and impact metrics".

Best learning technologies project – UK commercial sector

With sky-high completion rates and a focus on an innovative approach to delivery, we were really proud of the Barclays project for its’ use of application, testing, relevance and resources as well as the brand new platform content was delivered on.  The judges verdict: “This project can inspire and educate others in the design and execution of learning programmes.” Can’t say fairer than that!

Rory Lawson, Account Director at Kineo says;

"At Kineo we've seen a real shift in the awards process - the breadth and depth of the scrutiny entries now come under means you really have to prove the impact the learning has made. In partnership with Barclays we’ve re-defined what's possible with digital learning and we demonstrated that with a compelling story backed up with comprehensive evidence. Very proud."

So are we - well done to all of the Kineo and Barclays team involved.
