Kineo and Credit Suisse celebrate Team of the Year award at the 2022 Learning Technologies Awards

News | 17.11.2022

Credit Suisse in partnership with Kineo have been named the winners of the ‘Team of the Year’ award at this year's prestigious Learning Technology Awards. We are truly humbled to receive this award and we would like to thank all our colleagues for their incredible contributions and hard work.

Finalists were selected by an independent panel of 60 judges organized by the Learning Network, from over 450 entries received. The category was extremely competitive with organizations like Mercedes-Benz, Holland & Barrett and Media Zoo also being nominated for Team of the Year.

We were delighted to attend this exciting in-person awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London on Wednesday 16th November. It was an evening of glitz and glamour and we were surrounded by some of the most impressive and talented individuals in the sector. It was an inspirational evening and we are looking forward to seeing how the sector continues to amaze and impress us over the coming year.

The award was received in partnership with our astounding client Credit Suisse. The partnership with the Credit Suisse team is one of a kind and extremely rewarding and ambitious. Together we achieve so much and we are incredibly proud of the recognition we’ve received from the Learning Technologies team.

"We couldn’t be prouder of the team at Credit Suisse and the work we’ve done at Kineo to build this partnership over the past 6 years or so. Winning this award is a testament to that relationship. The cross customer / vendor collaboration achieves the exceptional with, in my experience, unparalleled learning provision of some 120 courses a year for up to 53,000 learners globally.

The feedback they regularly receive from their learners and business is second to none and in a world of learner-seat-time pressures, digital fatigue and hybrid working, this alone is some achievement. To be awarded Gold in the Team of the Year award at the 2022 Learning Technologies Awards is the icing on a very lovingly and long-prepared cake!”

Ultimately, Credit Suisse wanted their elearning to dramatically improve and become both memorable, distinctive and engaging to facilitate a culture of learning at the bank. A big part of our joint ambition was to make learning more accessible, not just in terms of mobile access, but in removing barriers to learners with health conditions or impairments. The team wanted to transform learning, to position it (and deliver it) as a tool to solve important business issues.

The partnership has gone from strength to strength and everyone involved has been truly heartened by the outcomes and the substantial changes that have taken place from a practical perspective but also a cultural and inclusion perspective.

One headline project around allyship has seen the number of LGBT+ allies at Credit Suisse grow from c.5,000 to 7,000+. That particular course got fantastic feedback across the board and had a major impact, assuring people that Credit Suisse was a safe space. In 2022, Credit Suisse was listed as one of Stonewall’s Top 100 Workplace Equality Employers and for the first time, received a Gold Award as part of this for their focus and progress on intersectionality across the LGBTQI+ community.

We were honoured to be part of such an important and significant movement and milestone for Credit Suisse. Read more about our work together in our case study.
