A hattrick of diamond awards at LearnX Live 2022

| 01.12.2022

Kineo celebrates 3 diamond-level award wins at LearnX Live this year with treasured learning platform and Kineo Courses customers in APAC.

The LearnX Awards event attracts the leading learning and training industry organisations in Australia. Kineo values this recognition year on year as a benchmark of learning and workplace training excellence.

LearnX celebrate innovation, new practices and technologies that drive and support talent development across corporate, government, education, non-profit and community service sectors. LearnX Award entries are judged on specific merits, not against each other.

This year all LMS project submissions were diamond-level winners.  Each is unique and spans spectator sports with Australian Sport Commission (ASC), health insurance with Medibank and retail and convenience with On the Run (OTR).

Australian Sports Commission is awarded best widespread eLearning adopter

The extensive LMS project undertaken in partnership with The Australian Sports Commission has been recognised with a diamond level award for the Australian Sport Learning Centre under the category of ‘best widespread eLearning adopter’.

Undoubtedly, the people behind this project have driven its success. The passion from the team at ASC to support and encourage the growth and essential learning required by Australian team sports is first-class and well deserving of this recognition.

Medibank scoops best learning and talent technology

Medibank exists to improve the health of all Australians and the health of its members. Medibank is passionate about building a better health system that is centred on people, and sustainable in the long term. The core business is the underwriting and distribution of private health insurance policies.

In the category of LMS Suite (Compliance Training), Medibank has been awarded a diamond prize for their learning management solution implementation utilising Totara’s 'Learn’ edition with open-source development. The development of a positive learning culture across the business has clearly been seen with 5449 individuals that actively use the LMS, an 800% uplift since launch!

Best learning model category for rapidly shifted online goes to OTR

‘OTR’ is Australia's leading 24/7 convenience chain, a 100% Australian based company operated by Peregrine Corporation. OTR offers supermarket deals, barista made coffee, refreshments, HappyWash or fuel, on-the-run. Global fast-food brands like Guzman y Gomez and Krispy Kreme give OTR a point of difference for high quality on-the-go sustenance.

The Totara LMS implemented facilitated 5,000 users with the project staggered across OTR's key LMS milestones

  • Engaging compliance
  • Measuring impact & growing people
  •  Integration and AI recommendations

This project was business-critical, with a 3-week delivery due to the rising challenges presented by COVID-19. Off-the-shelf Kineo Courses library content was utilised, and bespoke titles created by OTR using the Course Builder feature to meet specific training needs. Read the full case study here.
